Baptist Housing is looking for an Administrator Seniors Rental & Assisted Living to join our Team at our Oak Bay Communities in Victoria, BC.
The Administrator is committed to achieving Baptist Housing’s mission, compelled by the values of Jesus Christ, to provide exceptional services where seniors experience life well in our Marrion Village Assisted Living and Elgin Gardens communities, through spiritual care and operational leadership.
Marrion Village Assisted Living, which consists of 215 units of assisted living and subsidized senior’s rentals, is a model of senior care in a retirement residence setting. This level of support is ideal for seniors who enjoy independent living and who may need some assistance with daily tasks such as mobility, personal care and medications. Elgin Gardens home to 43 subsidized Seniors Rental Housing suites in the Oak Bay region of Victoria.
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations; providing leadership and strategic direction that results in a high level of service and care for all Residents which aligns with Baptist Housing’s vision, goals and strategic planning initiatives in a person-centered culture. The Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with Residents, families, team members, partners, and all stakeholders including regulatory authorities, associations and agencies.

As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions. The Administrator is highly service oriented, has a focus on achieving goals, and is able to work independently and as a collaborative Team Member. You have highly developed literacy skills with proven ability to plan and produce a broad range of professional and polished documents. You are a critical thinker and problem solver, detailed and organized, and able to manage your time, workload and conflicting priorities effectively and efficiently.
Experience leading a team with at least five years’ experience coordinating services in an administration/management capacity within a Seniors Rentals & Assisted Living, hospitality or service setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in business administration, social sciences or health care administration is preferred. Holds Occupational First Aid Level 1 or Equivalent.
