About The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, both in person and over the phone. You will handle inquiries, provide reception services, and maintain a confidential resident database in compliance with privacy regulations. Additionally, you will serve as an emergency responder, promptly addressing medical emergencies and building-related incidents. Light janitorial duties and general housekeeping maintenance will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist with office tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and scheduling guest suites, as well as contribute to the creation of various documents. Facilitating the placement of new residents, managing rent, and billing matters, and responding to resident inquiries will be among your duties. Balancing reports, maintaining petty cash, and handling maintenance requests are also part of the role. In the absence of the administrator, you will address minor resident issues and escalate major concerns. You will actively promote and support a culture of health and safety, identifying hazards and unsafe practices while providing emergency first aid when needed. Finally, you will participate in team meetings, committees, and resident events, and carry out any other tasks assigned that align with your skills and strengths. You’ll be an ambassador for Baptist Housing by modelling our values in all of your interactions with residents and team members. This is a casual overnight position with shifts running from 12 midnight to 8 a.m.
