About The Role 

*This casual position offers flexible work hours. 

As the Assisted Living Coordinator - LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and services to the residents at Clarendon Court. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the daily operations of Assisted Living services, providing nursing care, supervising team members, and fostering a positive living environment. 

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the Assisted Living Manager in assessing potential clients and managing move-ins and move-outs. 

  • Developing and maintaining Personal Services Plans (PSPs) tailored to residents' needs and preferences. 

  • Supervising and mentoring Resident Assistants, ensuring consistent and compassionate care delivery. 

  • Liaising with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to address residents' clinical needs. 

  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health, safety, and care activities in accordance with Baptist Housing’s policies. 

  • Ensuring compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations and promoting a culture of health and safety.

Requirements 

  • Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) training program. 

  • Current full practicing licensure with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). 

  • Minimum of five years working within a seniors' health care community or a comparable setting. 

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificates. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. 

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and conflict resolution abilities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits 

Level 1 LPNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $32.84 - $41.35 as per the BCGEU collective agreement. You will be welcomed into a warm and supportive work environment.
