As a Clinical Educator & Practice Lead, you will develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance resident care while mentoring nursing teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
About The Role
As a Clinical Educator & Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs that enhance resident care. Your expertise in change management, program planning, and clinical education will ensure that best practices are embedded across our senior care communities. Leading by example, you will mentor and support our clinical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, excellence, and compassionate care.
You will be responsible for identifying educational needs, developing training materials, and delivering evidence-based learning opportunities for our nursing teams. Through collaboration with leadership and frontline staff, you will drive quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with Baptist Housing’s mission and values.
This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about educating, coaching, and guiding healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care for seniors. You will report to the Director of Care and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) designation with current registration in British Columbia
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or clinical education role within a healthcare or long-term care setting
Strong background in change management, program development, and clinical program implementation
Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and support nursing teams in evidence-based care practices
Expertise in policy development, compliance, and quality assurance
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records
Current First Aid & CPR certification.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range between $101,000 to $117,000. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
