Your dedication and commitment to the well-being of the residents is unwavering, and you consistently go above and beyond to provide the highest level of care. You’ll hold a degree in dietetics or nutrition and have successfully completed an approved dietetic internship. You must also be a registered dietitian with a practising membership in the College of Dietitians of BC, with a requirement of "Restricted Activity A." Membership in the Dietitians of Canada is preferred. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a residential care environment is preferred.

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include conducting nutritional assessments, ensuring ongoing follow-up, and offering professional guidance to the Food Services Department. You’ll embody the values of Baptist Housing and effectively model and promote them to team members and others. Additionally, you will create an environment that upholds the autonomy, independence, dignity, privacy, health, and wellness of our residents, aligning with our person-centred wellness model of care. You’ll be responsible for the optimal nutritional care of all residents through nutritional assessments, ongoing follow-up, and the provision of professional guidance to the Food Services Department. The position is part-time, and you’ll report to the administrator.
