We’re looking for a service-oriented and community-driven Operations Manager to lead the operations of Maple Towers, a vibrant seniors supportive housing community in Maple Ridge.
About The Role
As the Operations Manager of Maple Towers, you’ll play a key leadership role in stewarding the day-to-day operations of the community. You’ll be responsible for overseeing resident engagement, facilities and maintenance, financial planning, and team leadership. This is a hands-on role for a people-first leader who is passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and creating a warm and supportive environment for seniors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of community operations, from budgeting to resident experience.
Foster strong relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.
Ensure a high standard of building maintenance, including regular inspections, minor repairs, and contractor oversight.
Promote occupancy through effective resident engagement and communication.
Provide administrative and reporting support, including occupancy and financial reporting.
Oversee supplies, inventory, and service contracts.
Support health and safety practices throughout the community.
Respond to emergencies and provide after-hours support when needed.
Act as a liaison with health and social service providers.
Support the chaplaincy and volunteer programs in collaboration with other leaders.
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and values-driven environment for all.
Requirements
The Operations Manager is a position of Christian ministry and Christian leadership within Baptist Housing. The person holding this position must sign and adhere to the Statement of Faith of Baptist Housing.
Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
Minimum five years of leadership experience, ideally in healthcare, housing, ministry, or nonprofit sectors.
Experience with basic property/building maintenance and minor renovation projects.
Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting and cash flow management.
Valid driver’s license.
Physically capable of performing job-related tasks (lifting to 50lbs, ladder use, etc.)
Strong computer literacy: experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range between $65,000 to $70,000. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
