About The Role 

As a Scheduling Assistant, you will manage daily team member vacancies, working closely with the Manager of Human Resources. 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Handling team member sick calls, vacation requests, and shift swaps.  

  • Ensuring prompt and efficient replacement of absent team members across our residences.  

  • Regularly communicating with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective scheduling and support for all shifts.  

  • Maintaining and updating scheduling systems with requests, documentation, and other data in compliance with Baptist Housing’s Privacy Policy.  

  • Collecting and maintaining statistics on team member absences to support our Attendance Management Program.  

  • Collaborating with the Human Resources team on projects and tasks while upholding Baptist Housing's values through empathy, compassion, and understanding.  

This role offers the opportunity to work full-time hours in a temporary capacity until March 31, 2025, based out of our Regional Office. 

 

Requirements/Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in a scheduling role, ideally with ESP or QHR systems. 

  • Strong administrative background with excellent organizational and communication skills. 

  • Warm personality, a sense of humor, and the ability to work well in a team environment. 

  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Compensation & Benefits 

 

This temporary full-time role offers a competitive rate of $28.30 per hour. While the position is temporary, you will work in a supportive environment and have the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact on seniors’ lives every day.
