In the role of Wellness Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the delivery of quality care and services for our Assisted Living (AL) Residents at Hallmark on the Park community in Abbotsford in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.   

About The Role

As the Wellness Manager, you conduct pre-occupancy interviews, assess potential clients, and provide orientation for new residents and their families. You develop and maintain care plans for both Health Authority funded and private pay residents, ensuring accurate documentation and effective implementation. You collaborate with the clinical services team and external health professionals to support wellness programs and best practices. You lead, mentor, and support your team, ensuring effective scheduling, performance management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you manage the Assisted Living budget, track expenditures, and contribute to professional development and health and safety initiatives within the community. You model Baptist Housing's values and demonstrate servant leadership by serving the needs of others. 

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized training program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses

  • A registered license in good standing with the BCCNM 

  • Courses or certification in Gerontology 

  • Courses or certifications in Business or Healthcare Administration 

  • Current certification in Emergency First Aid: Community Care 

  • Five years of experience in supervising and managing team member performance 

  • Three years of experience within a seniors’ Assisted Living community or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range of $72,000 to $110,000. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP-matched contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
