Baptist Housing Athlete Takes Home Three Medals

Baptist Housing's very own Howard Pole competed in the 55+ BC Games in North Vancouver this past week and came home with 3 medals. Howard received a gold medal in the 800m race, a bronze medal in the 400m race, a bronze medal in the 1500m race, and placed 4th in the 200m race.

Howard has been racing in the 55+ BC Games since 1998 (they originally started in 1997). He is an inspiration to us all as he runs around the Oak Bay track near Shannon Oaks - Oak Bay every morning as well as belonging to a weekly running group. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful man be a part of our community. Congratulations Howard!
