Congratulations Stan for receiving a Special Recognition Award for Servant Leadership at Baptist Housing!

Stan has been a Resident at Grandview Towers since 2010. He began serving while looking after his mother, who was also a long-time Resident and Volunteer.  After his mother passed away in December of 2011, Stan continued his mother’s legacy. For more than 6 years Stan has provided after-hours security – making sure that our Residents are safe during the night. This includes looking after floods, fire alarms and other emergencies. Stan has also loved working with Team Members during events like the quarterly lunch program and birthday teas.   

Residents and Team Members offered a standing ovation when Stan received his award and it's easy to understand why. Baptist Housing could not operate without the generosity of Residents like Stan and it's a privilege to honour their selfless work.
