How did Margaret find Baptist Housing?

Ten years ago Margaret was recently widowed and moved to West Kelowna from Prince George. She went to her local bank to see where there was a seniors community and the bank teller directed her to Village at Smith Creek . She remembers walking through a snow storm to enquire about volunteering there and the rest is history. 

How does volunteering impact Margaret?

Margaret volunteers Tuesday afternoon with the Adult Day Program and again on Thursdays to play crib. Residents and Team Members look forward to seeing Margaret's smiling face when she arrives and with her gentle touch she makes everyone feel comfortable and engaged. She celebrates 10 years of volunteering this February!

What makes her so sweet?

Margaret couldn't pick just one of her favourite treats, as she loves all types of chocolate and candy!
