How did Teena find Baptist Housing?

Teena started volunteering through Interior Health and was assigned to see a MS Resident at Sun Pointe Village. She started volunteering when her daughter was 16, she also volunteered with her at Sun Pointe Village. Later on Teena voluteered at Village at Smith Creek and actually saw the same Resident she had met years prior at Sun Pointe Village; he had been transferred to Village at Smith Creek. Teena now volunteers her time doing manicures at Village at Mill Creek. She has volunteered at all three Kelowna locations over the past 12 years!

How does volunteering impact Teena?

She loves how the Residents enjoy being pampered and that makes her feel good!
